Location

The market town of Felixdorf is located in the industrial district of Lower Austria, approx. 40 km south of the federal capital of Vienna and 10 km north of the school and business centre of Wiener Neustadt. Until the 1990s, the town was known for its textile factories, some of which were in operation for 200 years. Today there are local shops, restaurants, banks and doctors as well as cultural and leisure facilities (including an outdoor pool, ice rink and playgrounds) and kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. The natural alluvial forest on the edge of the village is beautiful, one of the last in the southern Vienna Basin - good for the air and soul!


Top also the infrastructural connection: The town is on the southern railway line, with regional trains and the S-Bahn lines S3 and S4 stopping here. This means there are around three connections an hour every day to Vienna (approx. 30 minutes journey time) and Wiener Neustadt (approx. 10 minutes). Felixdorf is also located on the B17 and has access to the A2 south motorway in just a few minutes.
